Summer Fun and Fitness Afternoon Program available for children ages 7-14
From Marymount’s state-of-the-art laboratories to the halls of noted NYC science museums, campers are challenged to question, explore and understand their world through an enlightening variety of scientific and technological lenses. Experienced science teachers and multimedia experts facilitate a challenging and innovative program of study using hands-on experimentation, nature and field studies and technology. From digital movie making to engineering, this is a perfect program for campers looking for a challenge and a creative and comprehensive experience that extends beyond their academic year.

Marymount Innovation and Design Camp: Grades 7-9
Monday - Friday • 9:00am - 3:00pm Drop off begins at 8:30am
Join us in the Marymount Fab Lab, a state-of-the art digital prototyping and manufacturing facility designed to challenge and inspire young scientists and technologists. Campers will use state-of-the-art computer programming, digital media and technological design techniques to create, question, challenge and innovate.
Weekly Highlights include:
Week 1: Engineering, Laser Cutting and 3D Printing Furniture Design
Week 2: Electronics: Programming Microcontrollers and Circuit Building to Generate Sound
Week 3: Video Game and Custom Controller Design
Week 4: Building and Designing Robotics with Artificial Intelligence
Week 5: Rocketry and Space Travel Building and Design

Young Explorers Camp:
Kindergarten and Grade 1

Move over, Einstein! The next brilliant discovery may come from one of Marymount’s Young Explorers campers! Experienced science teachers introduce campers to the world of natural and physical science through hands-on experimentation and field studies. This program is perfect for the budding scientist who loves nature and animals, building and construction, fiddling with gadgets, mixing in test tubes and donning goggles and white lab coats while exploring their natural world. Campers participate in a varied daily schedule of activities including sports, water play, arts and crafts, nature study and age-appropriate scientific and technological activities in Marymount’s state-of-the-art laboratories.
