Summer Fun and Fitness Afternoon Program available for children ages 7-14
Led by a team of professional teaching artists, Drama Camp is a creative and collaborative musical theater experience for budding thespians. Campers participate in daily acting, singing, dance and set design workshops, as well as special weekly classes devoted to everything from Shakespeare to stage combat and mask making. Campers rehearse and perform a full book musical over the five-week session.
Highlights include:
A field trip to see a Broadway musical, followed by a meeting and workshop with cast members (Drama I and II only)
A Meet-the-Artist Program in which campers work with some of Broadway’s most exciting actors, designers and directors
Daily outdoor recess and sports
Weekly swim instruction
Weekly
trips to the Metropolitan Museum of Art

For children who love to sing and dance, Cabaret Camp offers an exciting and fun-filled immersion into the creative and collaborative process of theater. Campers will participate in a varied daily schedule of activities including drama, music, dance, arts and crafts, sports, water play and center time. Teaching artists will lead campers in music and dance classes, exposing them to the joy and craft of musical theater. Campers will perform a Camp Cabaret of show tunes at the end of the five-week session.
